VIA Encounter at The Underground (Fairfield)

The Downton Dayton Pastoral Region will hold a Live Nativity in the front parking lot of Holy Trinity. Children will portray the people at the Nativity -- with live donkeys, sheep, goats, and camels. Refreshments, cookies, crafts, and music all afternoon. All welcome; invite friends and neighbors.

Celebrate Las Posadas ("Posada" means "inn" or "shelter"), a kind of Mexican Christmas pageant that reenacts Mary and Joseph going from inn to inn searching for a place to stay and ends with a party. IHM's celebration will include a procession with candles, Christmas carols, and a reception with hot chocolate and cookies. The procession will begin after 1:30 Mass.

Contemporary alternative rock musician Michael and his wife Michelle are touring the country in their own tour bus with their seven children. In their only Ohio stop, they will present a 90-minute concert featuring lights, video, music, and testimonies by Michael and Michelle. Tickets are free but an offering will be collected to help support the family's tour.
