Lenten Lunch with the Lord Series Begins at the Cathedral
The Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains's popular Lunch with the Lord series begins . Msgr. Frank Lane will offer insights on Scripture for the Lenten Season. Dates: Marcy 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3. Precious Blood Sister Joyce Ann Zimmerman will speak on "Prayer: Basking in God's Presence." Talk one of two sponsored by the Maria Stein Shrine Adoration Guild, both presentations will concern what prayer is, when and how to pray, different types of prayer, and more. Both all combine reflection on prayer with practice of different types of prayer, focusing on prayer as an encounter with God that deepens our relationship with Him and with each other. Session two scheduled for April 6.

The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation, a Catholic group that advocates a literal interpretation of Genesis, will present a talk outlining its view of the origins of the universe and the creation of man.
