Right to Life Bike Ride to Taylorsville Dam (Dayton)
Not a fundraiser -- witness to life with this ride from UD's campus to North Park/Taylorsville Dam. Fifteen or 3o-mil options. For 30-mile ride to dam and back, check-in is at 11 a.m. For 15-mile ride, check in at noon -- you and your bike will be transported to the dam to meet the rest of the cyclists, and will all cycle back together. Franciscan Father Daniel Horan, a friar of the Holy Name Province and assistant professor of systematic theology and spirituality at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago will lead "All God's Creatures: Rethinking Franciscan Theology of Creation." The half-day event will explore "the profound resources rooted in the Franciscan theology for a radically innovative theology of of creation."
