ST. LAWRENCE DEANERY — With the start of the 2010-11 athletic season, Elder High School will unveil EHS Mobile Sports, the official iPhone application of the Elder Panthers by JW Design. The app is currently in the approval process but will be available soon.

EHS Mobile offers iPhone and iPod Touch owners access to up-to-the-minute news, photos, schedules, streaming audio and live video broadcasts. EHS Mobile will be offered at a promotional price of $5.99 for the full version and can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store on the iPhone. A free lite version also will be available.

Elder High School has been a first for many technology breakthroughs in the high school arena. Notes principal Tom Otten, “We think this first-of-its-kind iPhone app continues in Elder’s unique tradition of technology breakthroughs. It will provide our international alumni/fan base another opportunity to support the school and its teams.”

The EHS Mobile iPhone application is compatible with Apple iOS devices including the iPhone and iPod Touch and requires iPhone OS 3.1 or later.

EHS Mobile Sports will be coming to the Android Marketplace soon.
