Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra Spring Concert

The CMO’s Spring Concert “Did You Know”  will feature works from Smetana’s “Ma Vlast: Vysehrad and The Molda,” Respighi’s “Pines of Rome,” and Moussorgsky’s “The Catacombs,” as well as selections by Puccini and Verdi featuring CCM grads Michelle Hillgrove and Will Reed. WGUC’s Eliane Diehl will share “fun facts” about the composers, their music and the CMO musicians.

Composed of some70 musicians from the greater Cincinnati area, the CMO performs a wide variety of music, including free classical concerts and summer “Pops” concerts, and is led by the West Side’s legendary “Music Man,” lon- time St. William and Elder High School music director Dave Allen.
