Annual July 4th event organized by St. Ann (Groesbeck) parishioners to honor the late Tony Merk, a parishioner who died at age six on  July 4, 2011, after an almost three-year battle with brain cancer. The Pray – Hope – Believe Foundation provides funding for pediatric brain tumor research, supports children/teens who have a life-threatening condition and their families, and honors the memory of Tony Merk through scholarships and events.

Prizes for men and women in various age groups and weight classes, and for teams. Route is mostly flat with some gently rolling areas. Scheduled waterstops at 1 and 2 miles. Timers at 1, 2 and 3 miles and finish. Professional Race Timing. Traffic will be controlled by Township Police.

Flag-raising ceremony at 8:15, free kids Superhero sprint,  food, drinks, children’s games, Awards presentation, Basket Raffle, Split-the-Pot, and memorial balloon release.
