1. Empty Bowls Event at SUA Saint Ursula Academy art students hosted the annual Empty Bowls event on campus on March 3. Empty Bowls provides awareness about homelessness and hunger in our community through an event that starts with the creation and sale of ceramic bowls. This year’s proceeds from the event benefitted Heartfelt Tidbits, an organization providing support to refugees and recent immigrants living in the Cincinnati area

2. Science Olympiad at Lehman
The Lehman Catholic
2023-24 Science Olympiad team competed in the Science Olympiad Regional Lehman’s team, consisting of 15 students, competed in 23 events, placing in 10 of them. The team placed seventh out of 12 teams. Pictured: Emma Largent and Elizabeth Hughes won third place for Write it. Do it.

3. Alter Wins Basketball Championship
Dayton’s Alter High School boys’ basketball team won the OHSAA Division II state championship, securing the Knights’ fourth championship to the program’s history. The school offers the fans, cheerleaders, students, and their pep band for adding to the spirit of the brown and gold!
