DAYTON DEANERY — The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Small Church Communities Formation Team will host a SCC Formation Day, “Facebook to Faithbook: Connecting Our Story to Jesus’ Story,” on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Monroe.

Father John Krumm, pastor of St. Brigid Church in Xenia and a board member of the National Alliance of Parishes Restructuring into Communities, brings a vast background of knowledge and experience as keynote speaker.  He is a proponent of small church communities and brings an awareness of the dynamic impact they can have on parish life.  He will provide practical knowledge on meeting the challenges and the opportunities SCC’s present to the parish and to the members.

Reservations are required.  The cost of $25 includes continental breakfast and lunch. For groups of three or more from the same parish, the cost is reduced to $20 per person. Contact the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis, 513-421-3131 or http://www.catholiccincinnati.org/oec/Upcoming_Event.htm for reservations and information.
