A Mass of Christian Burial for Precious Blood Sister Louise Margaret Williams was celebrated Aug. 30 at Salem Heights. Sister Peg, who was 91, died Aug. 26 at the Maria Joseph Center in Dayton. She was a Sister of the Precious Blood for 76 years.

A native of Dayton, Sister entered the Sisters of the Precious Blood in 1934. She spent nearly 30 years in education at elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati: at the former Sts. Peter and Paul School and Regina High School in Norwood; the former St. Margaret Mary School in Cincinnati, the former St. Joseph High School in Wapakoneta, and the former Precious Blood High School in Dayton. She also taught in Cleveland, Arizona and California.
 
Following her years in education she became a parish minister in Colorado. She was co-founder of the Desert House of Prayer in Cortaro, Arizona, where she served for nearly 25 years.

In 2000 she retired to Salem Heights, the central house of the Sisters of the Precious Blood.  She moved to Maria Joseph Center in 2009.

Interment was in Salem Heights Cemetery.
