Sr. Lea Cozzini, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, born in Chicago, IL, died peacefully on July 1, 2026, at the age of 88, in the 71st year of her religious life. Her passing is mourned by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, her sister Rita, her nieces and nephews, and many friends. Her parents Erlinda and Cornelio and sisters Lucille and Erminia preceded her in death.  Sister’s ministry as educator took her to Hamilton and Reading, OH, and Chicago, IL.  After her retirement Sister served her community with her gifts of song, prayer, and presence.

The visitation will take place on Friday, July 10 from 2:00- 2:45 at Mt. Notre Dame Health Center, 699 E. Columbia Ave, Cincinnati, OH (513-821-7448), followed by the Mass of Christian Burial and interment.
