St. Xavier High School announces the appointment of Dan Lynch to the role of Principal for the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Lynch will complete his current duties as Mathematics department chair and President of the St. Xavier Faculty Association and transition to Principal on July 1, 2021.

Mr. Lynch was educated in Jesuit schools beginning with his high school at Creighton Preparatory and extending through his undergraduate work at Xavier University before earning his M.A. Ed in Administration at The Ohio State University. “Mr. Lynch’s passion for Jesuit education is clear; we are very fortunate to have a faith-filled, mission-focused man like him to lead our storied school toward our 200th anniversary,” said St. Xavier President, Mr. Timothy Reilly ’76.

Though Mr. Lynch has been teaching and coaching soccer at St. Xavier since 2014, he taught and coached here before from 1991-1994. In the interim, he held administration roles at ACS Hillingdon International School in London, England and as Assistant Principal at Regis High School in New York, with other teaching positions between.

Mr. Lynch said, “At. St. Xavier we are blessed with a tremendous faculty and staff. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with them in this new capacity in order to serve our students as they grow and develop into Men for and with Others.”
