ARCHDIOCESE — The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) will host “Clean Out and Donate” weekends in April to collect critically needed household items, furniture and clothing. A SVDP truck will be on-site Saturdays and Sundays at the following parishes:

April 10 and 11: St. Antoninus Parish, Green Township; Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Green Hills; Good Shepherd Parish, Montgomery.

April 17 and 18: All Saints Parish, Kenwood; Immaculate Heart of Mary parish, Anderson Township; St. Ignatius Parish, Monfort Heights.

April 24 and 25: St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, West Chester; St. Columban Parish, Loveland; Nativity of Our Lord, Pleasant Ridge.

The collection truck will be attended before and after church services for donor-convenience, and donor tax receipts will be available. Donations collected from the weekends are distributed in the surrounding communities through St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores to benefit those in need throughout Greater Cincinnati.

St. Vincent de Paul accepts donations of gently used clothing, household items, furniture and cars year-round. Free pick-up service is available for large items. Call 513-421-CARE (2273) to arrange a pick up, or donations may be dropped off at any of the six Cincinnati area thrift stores. Tax receipts are available for donated items. For more information on donating or for a list of St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores, go to http://www.svdpcincinnati.org/.
