DAYTON DEANERY — A group of men women and children came together in front of the Women’s Med Center in Dayton Sept. 20 to help kick off the national 40 Days for Life campaign.

They gathered to sing and pray as part of an outreach effort that will occur simultaneously in communities across the country. The 40-day effort, which runs through Nov. 1, will feature prayer, fasting, special programs, educational outreach and peaceful vigils at abortion clinics. Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk led a recitation of the rosary before the start of the rally.
