Sr. Jane Funch, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, born in Cincinnati, OH, died peacefully on May 10, 2026 at the age of 95, in the 77th year of her religious life. Her passing is mourned by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and nieces and nephews. Her parents and siblings preceded her in death. Sister’s ministry as educator, community treasurer, and Internet Coordinator took her to Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati, OH. After her retirement Sister served her community in presence and prayer.

The Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 19, from 2:00 – 2:45 PM at Mt. Notre Dame Health Center, 699 E. Columbia Ave., Cincinnati, OH (513-821-7448), followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 and Interment after Mass.
