Archbishop Schnurr interview to air on WLWT Friday

WLWT’s John London visited the Archdiocese of Cincinnati headquarters in downtown Cincinnati on Holy Thursday for an exclusive interview with Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr.

The interview is scheduled to air during the evening news on Good Friday. London told The Catholic Telegraph he intended to speak with Archbishop Schnurr concerning Holy Week, Pope Francis, the Catholics Come Home campaign, the same-sex marriage debate, clerical celibacy and more, if time allowed.

Archbishop Schnurr is also scheduled to celebrate the Easter Vigil Mass at 8:30 p.m. on Holy Saturday at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains.

Holy Thursday, March 28: 5 p.m., Mass of the Lord’s Supper. The unique event of this Mass is the washing of feet of selected participants, as Jesus washed the feet of His apostles. Cincinnati Auxiliary Bishop Joseph R. Binzer will preside and preach.

Good Friday, March 29: Noon, Liturgy of the Passion. Bishop Binzer will preside and preach.

Holy Saturday, March 30: 8:45 p.m., Easter Vigil. Archbishop Schnurr will preside and preach. This is the Mass at which adults are baptized or received into the Church.

Easter Sunday, March 31: 11 a.m., Easter Day Mass with the Cathedral Choir.  Bishop Binzer will preside and preach.
