Sisters, brothers and priests from throughout the archdiocese who celebrated jubilees in 2012 came together for an annual Mass in their honor at Mount Notre Dame in Cincinnati Oct. 27. Eighty-four jubilarians were invited to participate in the Mass and lunch that followed, and 32 were able to do so.

Celebrated by Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr, the Mass recognized the faith of the women and men religious who have dedicated their lives to serving God and God’s people for 25, 50, 60, 70 or 75 years. During the liturgy, the jubilarians renewed their commitment to their baptismal call and each received a scroll signed by the archbishop in gratitude for their service.

The theme of the liturgy and the archbishop’s reflections was, “Your life of service has been a joyful witness to all. God, who is ever faith to promises, has blessed us with your ministry,” said Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Marilyn Kerber, director of the archdiocesan Office of Religious.
