"Art for Peace and Justice" will feature original works from the 2016 and 2017 "For a Better World" collection poems and drawings by Greater Cincinnati Artists. Artist and activist Saad Ghosn will feature printmaking and writings and other works. Also displayed: response pieces from the Mount community. Display the university's San Giuseppe Art Gallery March 5-April 11 (10 am - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday; 1 - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday).

Nationally known calligrapher Diane von Arx, a contributor to the first illuminated Bible commissioned from top calligraphers in 500 years, will present "Special Treatment Illuminations for the Saint John’s Bible," a free talk about her contributions to the Wisdom Books in the Saint John's Bible. XU's volume of the Wisdom books, the latest in the library's acquisition of the limited-edition, seven-volume set, will be on display at the talk along with a display of tools, quills, and inks.
