Oratory Establishment Mass at Old St. Mary’s
In March, Pope Francis approved the establishment of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri in Cincinnati, which has been in formation at Old St. Mary's Church in Over-the-Rhine for several years. Join Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr for a special Mass in celebration of the establishment. The Procurator General and Apostolic Delegate of the Oratory will also travel from Rome to be at the Mass. The University of Cincinnati's athletic director, Mike Bohn, will be the featured speaker when hundreds of men descend upon Elder's campus for an evening of camaraderie with good friends, former classmates, and other supporters of Elder. Tickets for the event will be $60 for general admission and $135 for VIP/patron admission. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30; dinner and program begins at 7. Xavier University's Cintas Center will host the 18th annual awards dinner for Su Casa, a ministry of Catholic Charities of Southwest Ohio that is celebrating its 20th year anniversary. Stand with Su Casa as it celebrates this milestone. The evening will begin with a raffle and cash bar (dinner includes complimentary wine).
