Sunday, August 24, 2014, 7 p.m.  The Liturgical Movement: From Pope St. Pius X to Pope Francis, an Evaluation" at the Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St. Mary's Seminary of the West; 6616 Beechmont Avenue.  NO FEE.  Fr. William Fitzgerald, O. Praem, STL, will present this talk about reform of the liturgy, with a special emphasis on music, on the occasion of the centenary of the death of Pope St. Pius X.  Gregorian Chant was to have played a major role in the liturgical reform as envisioned by this pope saint; a renowned scholar, spiritual director and cantor will explore the past century as it happened.  A presentation of the St. James Project, which will stream it live for those who cannot attend.  For information email [email protected]
