Sister Juliana Mislovic

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Juliana Mislovic was celebrated Dec. 6 at the Mount Notre Dame convent chapel. Sister Juliana, 93, died Dec. 2 at the Mount Notre Dame Health Center.
A native of Cincinnati, Sister Juliana was a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 70 years. She was a classroom teacher for 14 years. She taught religion and science at the former Julienne High School and Carroll High School in Dayton; Mount Notre Dame Academy in Cincinnati; and Mount Notre Dame High School in Chicago. Sister Juliana also served as her community’s postulant and novice director from 1951 to 1961.
For 26 years, Sister Juliana also served in pastoral care for the elderly. In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, she ministered at St. Francis Court and the West End Emergency Center. She retired in 2003 and was engaged in the ministry of prayer at Mount Notre Dame Health Center.
Interment was in the community’s cemetery.
