A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity Marie Annette Lonskey was celebrated March 12 in the Immaculate Conception Chapel of the congregation’s Delhi Township motherhouse. Sister Marie Annette, 93, died March 6 at Mother Margaret Hall.


 
Sister Marie Annette entered the congregation in 1934 and was a Sister of Charity for 75 years, serving in the dioceses of Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Santa Fe, N.M., and Pueblo, Colo.
 
She earned a bachelor of science degree in education from the Athenaeum of Ohio in 1941; a bachelor of arts in general science from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 1952; and a master’s in biology from Creighton University in Omaha in 1972. She was also a fulltime student at the Institutum Divi Thomae in Cincinnati from 1942 to 1944, earning a variety of credits in mathematics, science and research studies.
 
In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Sister Marie Annette’s educational ministry included serving as a teacher at Holy Trinity in Middletown (1950-53), St. William (1953-54); St. Therese, the Little Flower, (1954-55); and St. Rose (1955-56), all in Cincinnati.
 
Sister Annette Marie retired to the congregation’s motherhouse in 2004 to serve in the ministry of prayer.
 
Interment was in the Sisters of Charity cemetery.
