A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Patricia Marie Donnelly was celebrated March 10 in the Immaculate Conception Chapel at the congregation’s Delhi Township motherhouse. Sister Patricia Marie, 87, died March 6 at Mother Margaret Hall.
Sister Patricia Marie entered the congregation in 1941 and was a Sister of Charity for 69 years. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 1955 and a master’s degree in administration from Xavier University in 1962.
During her ministry in education, Sister Patricia Marie served in the archdioceses of Chicago, Detroit and Cincinnati. From 1952 to 1956 she taught elementary students at the former St. Saviour School in Rossmoyne. She also served as principal of St. Bernadette School in Amelia from 1956 to 1961.
Sister Patricia Marie is survived by her sister, Mona Donnelly. Interment was in the Sisters of Charity cemetery.
