A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Sister of Mercy Mary Ann Fuerst on April 15 at McAuley Convent. Sister Mary Anne, 85, died April 12. She was a Sister of Mercy for 68 years.

Sister Mary Ann taught at the following parishes in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati: Nativity, Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Margaret of Cortona and McAuley High School. From 1976-2006 she was director of the HOME Program, ministering to the low-income elderly in Walnut Hills.

Interment was in St. Joseph (New) Cemetery.
