St. Dominic School hosts naturalization ceremony

ST. LAWRENCE DEANERY — The St. Dominic School Student Council, seventh-grade students and Boy Scout Troop 483 hosted a naturalization ceremony in O’Connor Hall on Jan. 15.

Magistrate Judge Timothy Hogan was on hand to administer the Oath of Citizenship to 30 persons requesting to become U.S. citizens. They represented 21 countries of origin including Brazil, Burundi, Cambodia, Ghana, India, Jordan, Mexico, Nigeria, South Korea, Ukraine and Vietnam.

St. Dominic School worked closely with the U.S. Department of Immigration and Naturalization to plan this special event.
