GATHERING SONG “You are Mine” #822

GREETING & OPENING PRAYER Connie Schafer Welcome to our St. Peregrine Prayer Service. Regardless of our physical location, we come together today to pray and to ask for the intercession of St. Peregrine, for ourselves and for our loved ones who are fighting the battle of cancer. Because of his own experience with God’s healing power, we believe that St. Peregrine takes our requests before the Throne of God for our healing.
Let us pray…

Moderator: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
All: Amen.

Moderator: Lord Jesus, your holy Name is a medicine of healing and a pledge of eternal life.
All: Hear our prayer, O Lord, and grant your grace to make the sick well.

Moderator: Give patience, courage and faith to all who are disabled by injury or sickness.
All: Give patience, courage and faith to all who are disabled by injury or sickness.

Moderator: O God, who gave to St. Peregrine an Angel for his companion, the Mother of God for his Teacher, and Jesus as the Physician of his malady, grant we beseech You, through his merits, that we may on earth intensely love our Holy Angel, the blessed Virgin Mary, and our Savior, and in Him bless them forever. Grant that we may receive the favor which we now petition we ask this through the same Christ our Lord.
All: Blessed be God now and forever. AMEN

Scripture & Reflection: Romans 8:1-2, 10-11 Deacon Steve Broering “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus ahs freed you from the law of sin and death. If Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is alive because of righteousness. If the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through His Spirit that dwells in you.”
