CINCINNATI – January 8, 2023 – St. Ursula Villa is pleased to announce that Jody Sedler has been selected as the new President of the school. She has been filling in as interim President since July 2022.

St. Ursula Villa’s Board of Trustees led an extensive search yielding numerous highly qualified local and national candidates. A thorough vetting of the candidates was conducted, and Jody was selected due to her long-standing dedication to the Ursuline mission, professional leadership skills, experience in school fundraising and operations, as well as her ability to execute the Villa’s strategic goals.

During her time as interim President, Jody provided steady leadership and skillfully guided the school through an unexpected transition. She led many successful initiatives that have been met with enthusiasm including the adoption of ParentSquare communication tool; recent restructuring of tuition to make the Villa more affordable without compromising excellent academic programming; creation of the Director of Mission Integration position to lead Ursuline formation programs; and the acquisition of a $100,000 safety grant to improve campus security. As a member of the Executive Committee for the Strategic Growth Plan, Jody has worked collaboratively to form implementation teams and initiate projects and policies that provide the framework for thoughtful and successful growth here at St. Ursula Villa.

Jody is passionate about Catholic education and truly lives the Villa values. She is a collaborative leader, thoughtful decision-maker, and compassionate individual. She will continue to build on the progress made this year and provide the leadership to carry forth the mission and vision of St. Ursula Villa.
