Throughout the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, there are several Corpus Christi Processions to celebrate the The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. You’re invited to participate on this sacred day.

The Feast of Corpus Christi is a very big feast at Holy Family! On Thursday morning we cover the ground of the procession with images to honor Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for the evening Mass and Procession to follow.

Join Old St. Mary for the Solemn Traditional Mass on the Feast of Corpus Christ at 7:00 p.m. A procession inside the Church will follow.

Immediately following the 12:00 Mass presided by newly-ordained Fr. Christian Cone-Lombart. The procession will move from Guardian Angels Church along the sidewalk to Cambridge Ave, down Beacon St and back to Guardian Angels, ending in Benediction.

The 9:15 a.m. Latin Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 23 to allow for the Eucharistic Procession to be held before the 11:00 a.m. German Mass. The procession will begin shortly before 10:30 a.m.

The annual procession on parish grounds to the parish shrine to Our Lady of Belmonte and back is open to all.

Processing around the Greenhills Commons (the grassy field in front of the Church) carrying the Blessed Sacrament in a monstrance. Procession will stop to pray and adore Jesus at the gazebo, with a short homily, before concluding with Benediction in the church. All first Communicants are invited to process in their first Communion clothes.

Procession leaves St. Boniface after the 11:00 a.m. Mass traveling through the streets of Piqua to St. Mary Church, where there will be Benediction.

Join St. Cecilia Join us as we take Christ out into the streets and marketplaces of Oakley with a Eucharistic Procession and benediction following the 10:00 a.m. Mass. All are encouraged to participate in this beautiful, centuries-old tradition. There will be music and time for prayer and meditation in the church for those unable to make the walk.

St. Clement (St Bernard Ohio)

The Corpus Christi Procession publicly celebrates the Eucharistic presence of Christ as participants process through the neighborhood carrying the Blessed Sacrament on the Solemn Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, following the 10:30 Mass. The procession will stop at two outside altars for a short prayer and Benediction and end up back in church for a final short time of prayer.

Corpus Christi Procession will be on Sunday, June 23, beginning at end of 9:15 Mass. All children who have made First Communion this year are invited to come dressed in their special First Communion outfits and walk in procession. Everyone is invited to join us at 9:15 Mass and take part in the procession after Communion, or meet at the doors of the church on Dayton Street at 10:15, to join in the procession as it walks outside

After the 11:00 a.m. Mass, the annual procession with the Holy Eucharist will take place and process to St. Remy Hall and back. If it rains, the procession will stay in church.

St. Teresa Church / St. William Church (Price Hill/Cincinnati)

The 21st annual Corpus Christi Celebration, co-sponsored by St. Teresa of Avila and St. William Parishes, begins with a Prayer Service at 2:00 p.m. at St. Teresa Church, followed by a procession (approximately 1 mile) down the side streets to St. William Church. The Blessed Sacrament will be carried in the procession. A bus will be last in the procession to transport those who have a difficult time walking. The service will close with Benediction and a reception at St. William. You may park your car at St. William’s school parking lot. A shuttle bus will transport people to St. Teresa’s beginning at 1:00 pm. Please call 921-9200 ext 101 with any questions.
