After eight years of serving as executive director of St. Vincent de Paul in Dayton, Michael Vanderburgh’s last day was yesterday. We are grateful for his servant leadership as he shepherded the organization through unimaginable challenges from the Memorial Day tornadoes to a global pandemic. Through it all, he prioritized the deepening of our call to always love one another in faith and in action. Thank you, Michael! We wish you all the best as you pursue new opportunities.

As a committee begins the search for a new executive director, St. Vincent de Paul will be in the capable hands of Interim Executive Director Angie Grilliot. Her 25+ years of leadership experience makes her highly qualified to help lead the organization through this transition as we continue the critical work of our mission: to, with Christian purpose, accompany our neighbors in need one person at a time by focusing on shelter, food, and clothing.

Thank you for joining us in our mission, and for your patience as we navigate these changes.
