Press Release

Kathy Kane, Principal of Our Lady of Victory Catholic School in Delhi Township, has been named a recipient of the Distinguished Principal Award from the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA).

This national award was given to Kane based upon nominations submitted by school parents, staff members, and the Archdiocesan Superintendent of Schools, Jim Rigg.

“Ms. Kane is a deeply respected principal,” Rigg said. “She has worked hard to ensure that Victory provides the best religious and academic program possible. She is loved by the students and parents, and treats all people with respect and compassion.”

Kane has served as the Principal of Our Lady of Victory since 2007. Prior to that, she worked as a teacher and Assistant Principal of Our Lady of Visitation School in Green Township. She is also an instructor for the Excellence Initiative, a program at the Center for Catholic Education at Xavier University.

Kane has been a Mentor Principal for new administrators, and served on the Vision Steering Committee for the Archdiocese from 2010-2012. In 2014, the Archdiocese awarded Ms. Kane with the Livitate Dei Award for outstanding mentorship of other principals.

“Ms. Kane is highly deserving of this recognition,” said Rigg. “She is truly a blessing to Victory, and to all of our Catholic schools.”

She will receive her award during the NCEA Convention in Orlando, Florida in April.
