Sister Therese Beringer

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of St. Joseph Therese Beringer was celebrated April 11 at the Mount Notre Dame Chapel in Reading. Sister Therese, 83, died April 8.

Sister Therese entered her community in 1946 and professed her final vows in 1951. In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, she served as principal at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Anderson Township for 11 years. She also served in pastoral ministry at St. Thomas More and St. Veronica parishes. Her years of ministry also included schools in Louisiana. She retired to the Mount Notre Dame Health Center in 2003.

Sister Therese is survived by her brother, Paul. Interment was in Guardian Angels Cemetery.
