Cincinnati, OH: October 2020 – On October 16, 2020 at 10:30am, St. Rita School for the Deaf will be celebrating the 105th anniversary of our founding. Over 120 students and staff will gather on the field next to the school to release 105 biodegradable balloons in honor of impacting our community for 105 years. The media are welcome to attend the balloon release ceremony.

As the day goes on, the community can follow us on social media to see all of the different ways our students and staff are celebrating this anniversary.

At 12:00 p.m. President Angela Frith will honor our founder, Fr. Waldhaus, by laying flowers at his gravesite.
At 1:30 p.m. Watch a time lapse video of our students creating a chalk mural to mark our 105 years.
At 2:30 p.m. Watch a video of photos from our archives. A 105 years of St. Rita history through pictures.

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter to virtually be a part of this exciting milestone for our school. Please help us honor the past, celebrate the present, and cultivate the future!
