A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Marian Schlueter was celebrated March 23 in the congregation’s motherhouse chapel.

Sister Marian, 87, died March 17 at Mother Margaret Hall. A native of Cincinnati, she was a Sister of Charity for 69 years.

In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Sister Marian taught at St. William School in Price Hill; St. Joseph Orphanage; the former St. Saviour in Rossmoyne; St. Mary in Hyde Park; St. Andrew in Milford; the former Gressle School Norwood; and the former St. Vincent de Paul School in Cincinnati. In her retirement years, Sister Marian volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

She is survived by her sister, Judith Elliott. Interment was in the Sisters of Charity cemetery.
