Wednesday, November 3, 2010 A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Mercy Mary Jarlath Connaughton was celebrated Nov. 1 in the McAuley Convent chapel. Sister Mary Jarlath, 94, died Oct. 28 at the convent. She was a member of the Sisters of Mercy for 74 years.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010 A Mass of Christian Burial for Franciscan Father Aquinas Schneider was celebrated Nov. 1 at St. Mary Church in Bloomington, Ill. Father Schneider, 83, a member of the Cincinnati-based Province of St. John the Baptist, died Oct. 27 after a brief illness.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010 A Mass of Christian Burial for Jesuit Father Joseph F. Downey was celebrated Oct. 23 at the Colombiere Center in Clarkston, Mich. Father Downey, 94, died Oct. 20.  He was a Jesuit for 75 years.
