Parish and ministry leaders from across the Archdiocese of Cincinnati will gather in Dayton Oct. 6 and 7 to become better equipped to be disciples of Christ in the new missionary age defined by Pope Francis.

“Together we will continue the work of Christ at the Center as we examine the complexities of this new missionary age and equip ourselves to proclaim Christ in all human situations,” Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr said of the event. “This summit will be an opportunity to renew our commitment to the ‘missionary option,’ in order to further bring about a new evangelization in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.”

Linda Niehaus of the Department of Pastoral Services, said more than 20 workshops will be offered by local and national presenters.

Featured speakers include Bishop Frank J Caggiano, of Bridgeport, Conn., among several others.

Registration deadline is Sept. 5 with a $95 per person fee. Additional information and registration are available at HERE. The Priestly Formation Office will pay the registration fee for priests who serve in the archdiocese. See the website for information on accommodations.
