April 6, 2011 A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Mercy Eileen Marie Wallace was celebrated March 26 at St. Bernardine Home in Fremont. Sister Eileen Marie, 85, died March 23. She was a Sister of Mercy for 65 years.

April 6, 2011 MADISON, Wis. — Bishop William H. Bullock, the retired bishop of Madison who also had served as Bishop of Des Moines, Iowa, and Auxiliary Bishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis, died April 3, 10 days before his 84th birthday.

April 6, 2011 ARCHDIOCESE —  Father Joseph Binzer, chancellor of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and pastor of St. Louis Church since 2003, has been appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Cincinnati. The appointment was announced April 6 in Washington by Archbishop Pietro Sambi, apostolic nuncio to the United States.
